FOREST SCHOOL
We enhance children’s outdoor learning opportunities in our Forest School based just five minutes walk from our nursery.
Trained Forest School professionals lead sessions on a daily basis.
Forest School activities include; mud painting, potion making, using real tools, tree climbing, den building, bug hunting, bog exploration and much more.

Our sessions build upon confidence, independence and self help skills whilst encompassing learning outcomes and educating children to care for nature and the world around them.
This year at Forest school we discovered newts, toads, frogs, mice, slugs, snails, spiders, millipedes, centipedes and fox and badger paw prints. On our journey to the woods we see sheep, horses, donkeys and rabbits as we are in the middle of the countryside.
FOREST SCHOOL BENEFITS
OUR ETHOS
We believe children need enjoyable outdoor play to gain confidence and build resilliance. We aim for children to gain solid skills by having freedom within facilitated and supported boundaries and for children to make choices, problem solve and manage their own risks within fully inclusive, safe and secure outdoor environments.
